Stealing close-ups from a hare
I was sitting in a watchtower, having a snack, thinking about where to go immediately after since, up to that moment, little or nothing had happened.
But a hare appears out of nowhere in the meadow in front of me, a few meters from me. She does not notice my presence; she is blissful and calm, enjoying the sun and the lack of possible predators nearby.
I lean out a little, just enough to photograph her above the wooden balcony and the grass.
After a few shots, I put down the reflex and enjoy the moment: it will not be the most coveted photographic trophy, but it is the perfect frame of being in Nature without disturbing or interfering.
