WANDERING ITALIA winner of the ITALIAN NATIONAL AWARD MARIO ARPEA

I am happy and proud to announce that the novel “WANDERING ITALIA – A JOURNEY TO COME BACK TO LIFE (lengthening the list)” is the winner, for section C (prose), of the ninth edition of the MARIO ARPEA NATIONAL AWARD – MOUNTAIN LITERATURE AND POETRY!

The award ceremony will be held on August 26 at 18:00 in the “L. Sebastiani” conference room in Rocca di Mezzo (Aq).

Obviously, I will be there, extremely proud to receive this award at such an important event that last year also saw a “certain” Paolo Cognetti (Winner of the  Premio Strega 2017, Italy′s most prestigious literary award)

It will undoubtedly be a beautiful evening dedicated to love and respect for the mountains and nature.

In 2018 I embarked on a journey, on foot and alone, from the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise to Trieste, climbing the Apennines and facing the Alps.
