Four years of Wandering Italia: let’s retrace the journey with photos
Four years ago, I began my most incredible adventure, Wandering Italia, with so many doubts, unanswered questions and, above all, twenty-five kilos on my shoulders, of which ten only of photographic equipment.
The photos were an integral part of the trip. After four difficult years for personal and global reasons, I finally decided to publish the best and most representative shots, starting today, on the fourth anniversary of the beginning of Wandering Italia.
As you well know, if you have been following me for a while, I had thought of a possible photo book or an illustrated version of my novel, but in the end, there were too many problems, especially in terms of costs. And so, since that journey, which changed my life, never really ended, I think it’s time to share those memories with you.
For the first day, I chose three photos: the detachment from my daughter, even though I didn’t know at the time that I would have to undergo an even more dramatic and lacerating one; Pietro, Erminio and Angelo, of the Cai di Cassino, who decided to accompany me in the first stage; the first-ever photo with the reflex, at the John Paul II waterfall.
If you want to know and retrace this adventure, you can do it by reading Wandering Italia – A Journey To Come Back To Life, available on Amazon, Mondadori Store, or downloadable as a PDF.
