Bellezze sul bagnasciuga / Beauties on the sheshore

In una delle ultime uscite, prima che la stagione finisse, alcuni esemplari di foche si erano allontanati dalla colonia, circa 200 unità, che rimaneva più distante, e provavano a nascondersi dietro l’avvallamento del terreno che portava al bagnasciuga.

Ma la loro curiosità era più forte di loro e, ogni tanto, non potevano fare a meno di fare capolino rendendosi forse ancora più buffe e tenere di quanto non lo siano già.

Nel mentre, anche un bell’esemplare di edredone maschio faceva la sua elegante sfilata sulla spiaggia.

In one of the latest tours, before the season ended, some seals had moved away from the colony, about 200 specimens in total, which remained further away, and tried to hide behind the hollow of the land that led to the shore.

But their curiosity was too strong and, every now and then, they couldn’t help but peep out, making themselves perhaps even more funny and tender than they already are.

Meanwhile, a beautiful male common eider also made its elegant parade on the beach.
