L’altro giorno, come tutti i giorni del resto, ero in giro per cercare di catturare i colori dell’autunno e avevo deciso di recarmi a circa 50 km a nord di Malmö, i una riserva naturale, per controllare lì lo stato del foliage.

Purtroppo, anche se non prevista dalle previsioni, la pioggia mi ha fatto cambiare itinerario, e ho iniziato a girare inn lungo e i largo la regione, cercando di seguire quegli sprazzi di cielo luminosi che facevano auspicare a condizioni migliori.

Attraversando un paesino, veramente una decina di case, all’uscita trovo, su un campo vicino alla strada, queste 6 cicogne tranquille e beate, intente a farsi belle risistemandosi le piume.

Ho parcheggiato di lato, ho deciso di non scendere dalla macchina per non disturbarle, e me le sono godute per un po’ scattando dall’abitacolo.

Fa strano vederle ancora qui, in teoria dovrebbero già essere partite verso posti più caldi. L’unica spiegazione plausibile è che, in zona, si trova il Centro per il Progetto Cicogna, che negli anni 70 ha rintrodotto questi animali e da allora se ne prende cura.

Probabilmente la notte le cicogne hanno un posto caldo dove dormire, infatti i nidi che conosco suono vuoti da tempo, e questo spiega la loro presenza ancora qui in Svezia.

E noi non ce ne lamentiamo! 😃

Nota bene:

Il motivo per cui non sono sceso dalla macchina è semplice: la situazione e le condizioni meteo non mi avrebbero permesso di scattare nessuna foto speciale di questo animale e, uscendo, avrei solo portato loro disturbo. Ricordiamoci sempre di godere delle meraviglie della Natura portando rispetto prima di tutto ed evitando sempre di disturbare gli animali o di metterli in pericolo! 😉

The other day, like every day, I was out and about trying to capture the colors of autumn and I decided to go about 50 km north of Malmö, in a nature reserve, to check the state of the foliage there.

Unfortunately, even if not foreseen by the forecasts, the rain made me change my itinerary, and I started wandering around the region, trying to follow those flashes of bright sky that made me wish for better conditions.

Crossing a village, really just a dozen houses, at the exit I find, on a field near the road, these 6 quiet and blissful storks, intent on making themselves beautiful by rearranging their feathers.

I parked on the side, I decided not to get out of the car so as not to disturb them, and I enjoyed them for a while by shooting from the cockpit.

It is strange to see them still here, in theory they should have already left for warmer places. The only plausible explanation is that, in the area, there is the “Project Stork” organisation, which in the 1970s reintroduced these animals and has been taking care of them ever since.

Storks probably have a warm place to sleep at night, in fact the nests that I know have been empty for some time, and this explains their presence still here in Sweden.

And we don’t complain about it! 😃

Please note:

The reason why I did not get out of the car is simple: the situation and the weather conditions would not have allowed me to take any special photos of this animal and, going out, I would have only disturbed them. Let us always remember to enjoy the wonders of Nature by paying respect first of all and always avoiding disturbing animals or putting them in danger! 😉
