Sei solo, e solo stai camminando
sulla tua strada,
è il tuo viaggio e il tuo soltanto.
Nessuno si prenderà i tuoi problemi,
nessuno si farà carico del tuo dolore
Perché dovresti lasciar loro prendere la tua felicità?

Sei solo sulla strada
Un lungo viaggio ti ha portato qui,
i tuoi passi, i tuoi ricordi
come tracce sulla sabbia
inesorabilmente cancellate dal vento e dall’acqua
e nessuno
è mai passato di qui…

Ma non fermarti a pensare
hai ancora tanta strada da fare
Sei solo in questo cammino:
Fai buon viaggio…
e prenditi il meglio!

You are alone, and alone you are walking
your path
It’s your journey and your loneliness:
No one will carry your problems,
no one will carry your pain
Why should you let anybody take your happiness?

You are alone on the road
A long journey brought you here,
your steps, your memories
as footprints on the sand
inexorably erased by wind and water
and none else
have been walking here before…

But don’t stop to think
you still have a long way to go
You are alone in this journey:
Have a good trip…
