Da un paio di giorni, a meno che non ci siano improbabili ritorni di fiamma, sembra proprio che l’estate in Svezia sia finita e le temperature sono decisamente adesso più sopportabili, ossia tra i 20 e 22 gradi.

Finisce così la stagione più difficile per avvistare gli animali, in quanto, quando fa troppo caldo, preferiscono rimanere nelle foreste, all’ombra, uscendo solo alle prime luci dell’alba o verso il tramonto.
Ecco, allora, che gli incontri fortuiti che ho avuto nelle mie ultime passeggiate, diventano ancora più preziosi proprio perché rari.

Adesso, con l’inizio dell’autunno, si prospetta un periodo elettrizzante per chi, come me, ama la Natura e gli animali: il periodo degli amori dei cervi prima (settembre) e dei daini poi (ottobre-novembre); le grandi migrazioni di uccelli che lasceranno l’estremo nord per, a mano a mano, scendere verso posti più caldi; l’inizio della stagione del foliage, ossia i caldi colori dell’autunno che cambieranno e incendieranno le foreste.
E, infine, il periodo delle nebbie con la loro capacità di suscitare emozione e ispirare i miei scatti.

Ecco perché sono felice quando finisce l’estate…

Since a couple of days, unless there are unlikely backfires, it seems that summer in Sweden is over and the temperatures are now much more bearable, ie between 20 and 22 degrees.

Thus ends the most difficult season for sighting animals, as, when it is too hot, they prefer to stay in the forests, in the shade, going out only at the first light of dawn or towards sunset.
Here, then, that the fortuitous encounters I had in my last walks become even more precious precisely because they are rare.

Now, with the beginning of autumn, starts an electrifying period for those who, like me, loves Nature and animals: first the deer belling time (September) and then will be the time for the fallow deer (October-November); the great migrations of birds that will leave the far north to gradually descend towards warmer places; the beginning of the foliage season, the warm colours of autumn that will change and set the forests on fire.
And finally, the foggy days with their ability to arouse emotion and inspire my shots.

That’s why I’m happy when summer ends…
