Mentre continuavo and andare e tornare dalle foche, mi giungevano notizie che l’aquila reale era tornata in zona, probabilmente per passare qui l’inverno.

Un giorno di sole, allora, non ho resistito alla voglia di andare a cercarla, ritrovarla, vederla nuovamente. E così è stato…
E insieme a lei ho ritrovato vecchi amici che avevo trascurato da un po’: il nibbio reale, il gheppio, la poiana, un’aquila di mare in lontananza…

E ricordarmi, così, della fortuna che ho a vivere inn un luogo che, dal punto di vista Naturale, non smette mai di stupire…

As I kept going and returning from the land of seals, news reached me that the golden eagle had returned, probably to spend the winter here.

One sunny day, then, I couldn’t resist the urge to go look for it, find it, see it again. And so it was …
And together with it I found old friends that I had neglected for a while: the red kite, the kestrel, the buzzard, a sea eagle in the distance …

And these encounters reminded me of the luck I have in living in a place that, from a Natural point of view, never stops to amaze…
