È vero, ultimamente mi sono “specializzato”, o almeno sto mettendo più impegno, nelle foto ai grandi rapaci, forse perché sono più difficili, sia da avvistare che da fotografare, o forse per quel senso di infinità libertà che riescono ad evocare con i loro voli: fatto sta che mi sto dedicando a quel tipo di fotografia con tanta passione… e qualche buon risultato.
Questo, però, non vuol dire che non continui ad apprezzare anche tutto il resto, anzi!
Questi giorni, per esempio, adoro uscire nel tardo pomeriggio e godermi la lentezza con cui il sole volge al tramonto qui in Svezia (oggi ore 21:51). E nelle ore che a mano a mano diventano più fresche e tranquille, gli animali escono fuori dal bosco e, come questi caprioli, si godono la luce dorata che li avvolge…
Conosco i luoghi dove trovarli, ho imparato persino a riconoscere alcuni esemplari.
Come si vede da una foto ho anche trovato una madre con il piccolino che si nascondono nell’erba alta e che, a parte qualche scatto veloce senza neanche scendere dalla macchina, non ho voluto disturbare…
E mentre il giorno volge al termine, torno ogni volta a casa con un grande sorriso…

It is true, lately I have “specialised myself”, or at least I am putting more effort, into the birds of prey photography, perhaps because they are more difficult, both to sight and to photograph, or perhaps for that sense of infinity freedom that they manage to evoke with the their flights. The fact is that I’m devoting myself to that kind of photography with so much passion now… and quite good results.
This, however, does not mean that I don’t continue to appreciate everything else, though!
These days, for example, I love going out late in the afternoon and enjoying the slowness with which the sun is setting at sunset here in Sweden (today at 21:51). And in the hours that gradually become cooler and quieter, the animals come out of the woods and, like these roe deer, they enjoy the golden light that surrounds them …
I know the places where to find them, I even learned to recognise some specimens.
As you can see from a photo I also found a mother with the little one hiding in the tall grass and, apart from a few quick shots without even getting out of the car, I didn’t want to disturb them any longer…
And as the day slowly ends, I come home every time with a big smile…
